We’re very excited to announce that in the run up to April Showers, we will be opening up our own shop on Monmouth St, Seven Dials / Covent Garden for 4 weeks. The store will be open from Friday 16th March – Wednesday 11th April.

We will be showcasing the new collection with various activity going on during that time. We will also be offering a customised engraving service to add that personal touch to your umbrella.

Hypebeast HBTV takes the form of this vision of the Carhart WIP E1 London store. Consistent with the level of detail other Carhartt retail locations have incorporated, the E1 London store was intended to capture and accentuate the original features of the space. The carefully crafted interior integrates materials sourced from throughout the UK including shelving built from remnants of an army barracks, and a table crafted from 100 year old Scottish ashwood. Highlighting collaborations and artwork from several names throughout the interior, retail manager Marvin Javier invites you to visit. Directed by Santiago Arbelaez.

Available in our City Gent Style, The umbrellas come in a classic green with a light grey fastener. They’re so smart that Monocle have featured them in this month’s issue (See Above). The Gentleman’s umbrella is hand crafted from a single piece of polished Maple Wood with A Continuous Handle & Shaft and Silver Ferrule Tip. The Industrial heavy-duty framework is built to last with a metal runner with protective ACL Orange fabric. The canopy is made with a waterproof Black Watch poly fabric which accommodates a Bright Orange interior. Complete with a special London Undercover & A Continuous Lean collaboration label.

Following on from the success of our Commuter Umbrella, we’re proud to introduce our new collaboration with Transport For London, The Green Line Umbrella.

The Green Line brand, first established in 1930, was used for coach services linking central London with country towns within a 30-mile radius.The Green Routemasters were used on Green Line routes in outlying country towns, with a central station at Poland Street, Soho.

The Green Line Umbrella is based on a special fleet of Lincoln Green Routemasters. These were built for comfort with extra deep cushions featuring the now iconic Routemaster Seat Moquette. It’s this moquette pattern that makes up the interior of this special London Undercover umbrella and the Lincoln Green & Gold Paintwork, the exterior.
